To be considered an accredited investor, you must fulfill one of the five criteria listed below.
US investors
- Individuals who have made $200,000 or more in gross income in each of the past two years and anticipate to continue doing so in the future. Individuals having a gross income of $300,000 or more each year over the previous two years, when combined with the income of a spouse. Individuals with a net worth of $1 million or more (excluding the value of their principal residence).
- A business with at least $5 million in assets, or a business in which all equity owners are accredited investors.
- Individuals who have a General Securities Representative (Series 7) license, a Private Securities Offerings Representative (Series 82), or a Licensed Investment Adviser Representative (Series 65) license.
